Palai Penang is the third edition of Palai, an itinerant exhibition organised by Paris based Galerie Balice Hertling to present international contemporary artworks in heritage homes.

This image was selected for a composition with a clear single visual focus and a color structure suitable for a 54-unit table analysis. Upon tabulating, the leaves impart rightward directionality. The starfish-like shapes dissolve into a liquid, covering the upper part of the tabulation, while the flower's core resembles a jellyfish due to airbrush effects. I found some unexpected visual parallels between a plant from an arid region and certain forms of marine life. This object reset, based on nature's visual characteristics and photographic composition, exemplifies how the tabulation method systematically fosters image association ability.
